aberrantangelsSo I went over to Pale Puppy, and I tried to download the PDF of the free Exalted adventure, but it opened in a separate window. Knowing how Acrobat can be, I minimized any window that might cover my desktop, because the "Acrobat is checking for updates" dialogue box occasionally pops up behind all such windows, and causes Internet Extruder to hang up until it's clicked on.
At least, I thought I was minimizing all the windows. I seem to have closed the window the White Wolf site had been in, as there was no longer a tab for it in the toolbar. But the soundtrack of the flash advertising Gehenna (the ToJ supplement for Vampire) continued to play. Even after I closed the other IE window. I eventually had to restart the computer to get it to go away.
So, either my anti-geekness has reached new heights, or something on White Wolf's server possessed my computer. I'll keep you posted.
