And here's today's "On a day like today..." item (well, the one that's in both the Trinity Universe and the past tense):
Slowly but surely, the world recovered from the Moscow Crash, as it had recovered from other crashes before and would from still others afterward. (I'm getting ahead of myself, I know, but when writing about a future that's been mapped out so much, I'm afraid I have a tendency to anticipate.) And again, the help Utopia provided gained them goodwill, which was a Good Thing™ for Æon.

[Aberrant] Project Utopia announces that its nova-employing research department is working on a solution to the economic crisis. It also offers the services of the novas associated with Utopia to the UN, and any government that asks, for relief work. The news leads to a slight upswing in world markets.
