I've finally decided to make "This month in Trinity Universe history" a separate category from "This day [etc]".
In a journal entry made sometime this month in 1923, Whitley Styles officially, if unwillingly, gave up on the search for Maxwell Anderson Mercer, after roughly three months of fruitless investigation. He hadn't heard from Max's other boon companion, Michael Donighal, in weeks, and the other's last telegram had sounded like an admission of surrender. Whit decided all he could do was get back to his life (and to those projects he'd put on the back burner, like the search for a Mrs. Austin's diamonds) and hope Max would turn up (as the man had a habit of doing).
By sometime this month in 2001, Congolese nova Lambert Asani had assembled the other five novas who would join him in forming the "Six Heads" of his ironically named "Belgian National Congress". I'll be covering them in more detail as events warranted. For now, let this suffice Aberrant: Elites notes that Anna DeVries may have invented nova warfare, but the Six Heads perfected it.
