aberrantangelsThe trip I was planning has been delayed some by Chambersburg being chosen as the shooting site for Jack Frost's latest bukkake video, so I had time to finish this before leaving. Today's TDitTU entry is a two-fer.
On this day in 1975, one Barry Meldrum was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. I don't know when he erupts, only that it's by early 2007.
And on this day in 2001, Project Utopia-mediated negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Liberation Organization opened. Whether they had a charismatic nova helping out, I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised. In the Wild Cards world (to which, as I've said in past, the Aberrant Era owes a lot), it took the subliminal influence of the first and most famous mega-social ace, David "The Envoy" Harstein, to help Count Folke Bernadotte succeed where his OTL [*] counterpart failed at creating some sort of treaty in the region.
One of these is a story I'll be getting back to in a later TDitTU; the other is a story that has yet to reach the point where Aberrant supplements started covering it. Thus, this is going to be an entry like a lot at my old blog; it's not going to end so much as just stop.
