Well, harukami and melpomenes_mask have both done summaries of their year in this format, so here are some things I did in 2003:

Moved down one floor.

Got a computer with a functional sound card.

Ate Pocky.

Read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix; was surprised and impressed by turns.

Attempted roleplay (Mage: The Ascension) on AIM.

Met with actual therapists; got on some medication by virtue of which I no longer go through life with a constant low-level thunderstorm in my head.

Succeeded at journal-based roleplay as Marcus, a real piece of work.

Saw The Return of the King; was blown away. Glad thessalian at least didn't hate it as much as she did the first two.
