[Aberrant] Dr. Nimal Dharmasena records, in her his journal, the thought processes that have led up to her his decision to sign on with Project Utopia.

She's He's come to the conclusion that human evolution has stopped. Thus, Nature has taken a hand and created prototypes of what the next stage might be, "a way of examining what we might become — and evolving ourselves."

She's He's impressed by the potential of the new humans: "One nova alone, with the right gifts, could end hunger, rework the world economy or terraform a continent. If we achieve some level of control over nova powers and who we invest them in, we could achieve Star Trek several centuries early..."
