Further evidence of my mental decay

1) When my mom, at dinner just now, said "Spring is here", the next thing I thought was "A-suh-puh-ring is here..."
2) When my dad talked about a telemarketing called he'd received, selling either furniture or home repair, passing itself off as a survey, I thought "Do you have stairs in your house?"
