Capsule review: Chicken Little
Nov. 5th, 2005 07:09 pmI laughed. I jumped once or twice. My eyes did not remain dry throughout, at least I don't think they did. I recognized the voice of William Anderson about halfway through his participation. If you are, or have been, a child and this film is playing in your country, I highly recommend it.

It managed to have a Message(tm) without being too preachy, which is always a plus, esp. in Disney films,
True dat.
and to voicework was top-notch.
Patrick Stewart did a nice job of blending in without my noticing him the way I did
Simon TrentAdam West, which is probably cooler. The trailers that ran before the flick, though,,,Euugh. Do we really need another remake of Shaggy Dog, esp. as a Tim Allen vehicle?
Somebody seemed to think so. And that it needed to blend in The Shaggy D.A. and have doggy behaviors carry over into human form. And have him run down an old lady in a Zimmer frame. If any Disney marketroids are reading this, that was when you definitively and irrevocably lost my parents as a target audience.
