A little of both. His bigotry isn't racist (unless you automatically assume that Muslim = brown, which I don't know if he does), but there's nothing vague about it in my eyes, and I suspect said bigotry is what leads him to assume that such a blatant piss-take is meant seriously.

If it is urine extraction. Googling on "Al Watan football" turned up a number of matches, but no direct links to the original Al Watan article. It may be that some radical imam really did issue this thing, and that (again) Rimmer Bimmer's assumption that "radical imam" is redundant leads him to take it more seriously than any actual Muslims can be verified to have done.

Which doesn't mean it *isn't* for real - after all, Lisa Harvey was just ranting on Wing Nut Daily about how Halloween is like banning your mother from the neighborhood, because God is just like your mother and Halloween is banning him, and so every time you carve a pumpkin you're insulting your mother. But moderate Muslims could hardly ask for a better weapon against their own radicals, if it is real.

Actually, their idea of "God" is more like a classical father than a mother — the Strict Parent, the one who (to sum up how Arthur Silber used to put it before he went away) will protect us from our authentic self even if He has to literally kill us to do it.
