1) What's the best and worst thing about living with your parents?

Best thing: they love me even when I'm not making something of myself. Worst thing: They're always around, whether I need/want them there or not.

2) What's the single most thought-provoking story you've ever read?

Either "The Last Question" by Isaac Asimov or "Faith of Our Fathers" by Philip K. Dick.

3) If you knew for a fact that killing one human being would save thousands later on, would you do it?

I'd have to nerve myself, and probably train up my killing skills, but yes.

4) What's the most physical damage you've deliberately caused someone?

If we're just talking other people, bruises. If we're including damage I've done to myself, once in a fit of pique, I kicked one of the stanchions of our old swimming pool hard enough to break my left foot. It still gives me gyp in bad weather.

5) As far as getting through life in general, what's your philosophy?

The same as Charlie Brown's: only dread one day at a time. Or maybe Albert Alligator's: "Don't take life too serious — it ain't nohow permanent."
